There's something about a nicely finished rivet on a clean primed part. Don't forget to mark the holes not requiring rivets just yet...

Well, I countersunk these two perfectly but was distracted at just the wrong time when installing the doubler as seen a little lower.

Once set correctly, the pneumatic squeezer creates perfect shop heads every time.
At the last minute, I checked the plans and thought I'd missed the two countersunk holes in the doubler, so I countersunk the doubler out of sequence and paid the price by not conferring with the plans. The countersunk holes were completed correctly on the spar itself.
I needed to have this inspected by the right person who confirmed this would not cause a problem. I squeezed them both a little more than normal to fill the countersink. The strength of these two and all the others around it will be fine but I'll make a note and maintain regular maintenance.
