I didn't take any photos of the priming session this time but here's the end result:
I love the way the Stewart Systems primer makes all the parts look so clean.
Not really sure why I took this - kinda messy.
Started riveting the bulkheads together. Below is the F-01412 bulkhead which is the very rear bulkhead and attaches directly to the Vertical Stabiliser.
The contrasting brass-coloured rivets looks great...
I took a photo of this as the manual instructs you to...
I decided to flute the small flanges a little so there's no chance the edges could dig into the skin and cause a crack. I also rounded the edges as described in the image above.
These fluted flanges are going to seat into the skin in the background.
Below is the F-01411 bulkhead being clecoed prior to riveting.
I ended up having to run the reamer through each of the holes in the F-01411C Horizontal Stabiliser Attach Bars as the AN470AD4-7 rivets were just too tight to get through.
Below shows the F-01411C attach Bars all riveted, and in the background you can see where I ran the F-01412 bulkhead over the Scotchbrite wheel to ensure no sharp edges are going to be adjacent to the skin - that would not be much fun de-riveting everything to replace/repair a cracked skin because of it. Don't worry, I primed that section again.
Below are a few progressive shots of the F-01410 bulkhead components being riveted.
Ahhhh, don't they look great all squished in there so pretty.
I love my pneumatic squeezer
