Empennage - Rudder (continued)

Continued with the rudder today attaching the Rudder Horn assembly to the Main Spar...

The hole left unriveted is for the HW-00004 plastic bracket as shown below...

Here are all the rudder skin stiffeners laid out in their relative positions prior to separation...

That's all for today. More cutting, deburring & priming tomorrow.

About Me...

I've been interested in aviation most of my life since making plastic models........ to building and flying remote control fixed and rotary models....... to finally gaining a private pilot's licence in my mid-20's. I'd love to be able to fly more and see this aircraft as my ticket to being able to do that. I just need to start!!

I've got half of a CPL Rotary Licence which was exhilarating, but the bottom line is I don't plan on flying choppers as a job, I'm not a millionaire and would rather build something to fly sooner than later which means the heli side of things needs to take a back seat.

I'm an Electrical/Electronic Engineer so I'm looking forward to installing the boxes of lights (as a previous colleague used to call displays). I grew up in Melbourne, Australia but now reside north of Brisbane, QLD, Australia.
