The Covid-19 epidemic has been disastrous on lives and living for far too long. That and other influences has caused me to cease this build for a period of time and put everything into storage.
Although I'd planned on a hiatus from building, I had no idea it would end up at 3yrs..........so far. It will most likely be around 3.5yrs before I get everything back in place to continue.
Rather than cease all entries on the blog until I find somewhere to continue, I thought I'd make a few entries on related items as there are modifications to explore and investigate and planning to be done for future stages. Some that come to mind include:
- Engine type and specs - the YIO-390 EXP119 is now released and being installed as the engine of choice for the -14
- Propellor - overall propellor stats still lean toward aluminium, but composite props are progressing each year.
- P-Mags or EFI or both - this is another tough choice where everybody has a different opinion.
- Battery or batteries
- VPX or circuit breakers
